On the 24th of this month, when the sky was still bright in Phnom Penh, Captain Zhu of the Volunteer Team of the Cambodia International Charity Federation had taken his teammates to the No. 6 road. This time they will go to Mondulkiri in the northeast of Cambodia. Province, choose school buildings for Shanxinhui School (5), and inspect three poverty-stricken schools recommended by the provincial education department. It was the first time for Captain Zhu to visit three schools in one trip, so he made careful arrangements before leaving.

In the early morning, after a long journey of nearly several hours, I arrived at the designated meeting point at 10:00 in the morning. I met the provincial leaders and the head of the education department, and led them to the schools in the most fringe areas of the province. The vehicles were in the bumps. After nearly 50 kilometers of bumps on the uneven dirt road, I finally reached the first inspection school. This school is dominated by ethnic minority students. There are only two classrooms of less than 30 square meters for more than 200 students, and they are dilapidated and leaky…

After learning about the basic situation of the first school, the volunteer team members quickly rushed to the second school for inspection. During the trip, due to the time constraints and the remote location, lunches could only be packed in advance, and then at Simple meal on the way.

After running around all day, they finally came to the station to rest at night. The team members roughly estimated that the two schools they visited today took about 13 hours to drive, and they were indeed exhausted.

The third school I visited on the second day was in the mountains, the road became more and more difficult, and the journey was even more difficult. Fortunately, the provincial leaders have also given strong support for this inspection. Every school they visited has made careful arrangements and prepared detailed information for us. They especially hope that the Cambodia International Charity Federation and its members can help. The children who go there can build a brand new school for those children who are hungry for knowledge. …

Seeing the earnest eyes of the provincial leaders and the innocent smiling faces of the children, the volunteer team members did not feel tired from the tired bodies of the past two days. They just hope that they can be helped as soon as possible and their wishes come true!

Finally, I would like to introduce to you: our Shanxinhui School (4) is under intense construction. It has only started for more than a month, and about 70% of the project has been completed. According to the current progress, it is expected to be completed in mid-March. We are preparing to hold the inauguration ceremony before Cambodian New Year, and the details will be posted in the member group at that time.
